A hand-pulled, two-layer relief print inspired by the iconic form of Pilot Mountain in North Carolina’s Piedmont region. The first layer features subtle, blind embossed clouds that bring softness and movement to the sky. The second layer is densely carved with fine line work and stippling, adding depth, texture, and atmosphere throughout the landscape. Presented as a diptych, the space between the panels introduces a subtle pause that encourages the viewer to linger and engage with each half on its own terms while still experiencing them as a connected whole. Created using the reduction printmaking method, both layers were carved and printed using the same block, making the edition truly one-of-a-kind.

PRE-ORDER:

As the limited edition is currently in production, I’m offering a special opportunity to reserve one of the first ten prints in the edition at a discounted pre-order price. This early offering helps support the time-intensive process of hand-printing each piece and gives collectors a chance to secure a print before the full edition is released.

By placing a pre-order you are acknowledging:

1. Pre-orders are sold at a special discounted price while the print is in production. This price will be unavailable once the limited edition is complete.
2. The date in which the limited edition will be completed and shipped can not be guaranteed. This process is tedious and labor intensive and the layers can take days/weeks to dry. If things go according to schedule, this limited edition will begin shipment by the end of August 2025.
3. Pre-orders are not customizable.
4. Pre-order sales are final; NO returns or exchanges can be made.
5. This piece is a limited edition original. Once the edition is sold, it will not be available again.
