This piece skillfully merges contemporary aesthetics with the enduring charm of Art Nouveau, offering a captivating fusion of old and new. At its center, overlapping tulip stems create a mesmerizing display of delicate curves and graceful contours, reminiscent of the movement. With a contrasting pallet of greens and peaches, it embraces organic forms and flowing lines to evoke a sense of natural beauty.
The creation of this artwork involved a meticulous four-layer reduction printmaking process, resulting in a multi-dimensional composition. Though not immediately noticeable at first glance, the viewer is drawn closer to uncover its hidden intricacies of blind embossed clover motifs.
It’s important to note that the artwork was made with archival materials, warranting both its artistic integrity and long-lasting quality.

I have a husband who pays attention, and so unexpectedly, on Christmas morning a couple of years ago, I unwrapped a cardboard tube. Inside it was a twin set – two prints, the prints I loved and wanted – the sweetest gift. I was ELATED. We had them specialty framed, and they live happily in unison together above our mantle, where I knew they always belonged. Thank you, Lauren! Thank you for giving visual life to a feeling and a memory that so many of us know, love, and cherish. You are MAGIC.

Since my husband and I moved from the southeast to the northwest last summer, I have tried to fill our new home with as many pieces and treasures from our former Appalachian home as I can. Lauren’s print is like a window back to the hills and the woods that we loved so much. Thank you so much for creating something that brings so much joy to my soul.

Lauren’s work is all over our home. I have nothing but good things to say. Her work is stunning, detailed, and clearly labor intensive. If we had a choice, we would live in Boone, but can’t, but we do keep the magic of that area here with her work.
